Four cuts for trainers, boots and work shoes

Ankle Tab and Quarter are our two lower cuts, for trainers and leggings. On our ankle socks, a tab above the heel keeps the back of your trainers off your ankle. Quarter sits a little higher and its stretchy ribbed cuff hugs the leg without squeezing. Our mid-crew socks and Crew come up further and go with ankle boots and work shoes as well as trainers. Crew is our office-to-gym sock. Every cut is in our gym socks and all four can tackle any run.

Two sizes for women's feet

We make two sizes because a sock that's too big for your foot bunches under the toes and slips at the heel. Both run through all four cuts, US M 5-9 / W 6.5-10.5 and US M 9-13 / W 11-14. The 90 degree heel and a stretchy cuff that hugs your leg keep each sock in place while you walk.

Is there a difference between men's and women's socks?

Every DryStep sock is unisex. Men and women wear the four cuts we make, all knit from COOLMAX yarn with soft terry loop cushioning and a stretchy cuff. You'll find the same pairs in our men's socks. Your shoe size decides which of our two sizes to buy.

How do I convert men's sock sizes to women's?

You don't need to with ours, because each size lists a men's and a women's range on the label. Our smaller size is US M 5-9 / W 6.5-10.5 and the bigger one is US M 9-13 / W 11-14. A US women's 6.5 to 10.5 takes the smaller size and 11 to 14 takes the bigger one.

What are the best socks for walking?

On a long walk, our COOLMAX yarn moves sweat off your skin and cushioned terry loops underfoot soften each stride. We also reinforce the heel and toe, the two places walking wears a sock through first. Pick the cut by your shoe, a lower one for trainers and a higher one for boots.

What socks do you wear with ankle boots?

Crew and Mid-Crew are the cuts to wear with ankle boots. Our crew socks reach below the calf. Mid-Crew sits 4cm lower and still covers the ankle bone. In a closed boot, their COOLMAX yarn keeps sweat off your skin. Both have a stretchy ribbed cuff that stays up inside the boot without digging in.

What are the most comfortable socks?

Comfort in a sock mostly comes down to the cushioning and a fit that doesn't rub. Ours have soft terry loop cushioning under the foot and through the Achilles, a seamless toe, a band of arch support that hugs the middle of your foot and a reinforced heel and toe. Breathable mesh ventilation sits in the forefoot to let heat out of your shoe.
