Wear Mid-Crew or Crew. Either one covers the bare ankle that shows between your jeans and your sneakers when you sit down. Crew comes up further, below the calf. With shorts, Quarter shows a little sock above your sneakers and Mid-Crew shows a bit more.

Pick a fibre that dries fast and keeps its shape. Cotton feels soft but can hold on to moisture. DryStep combines COOLMAX® moisture-wicking yarn with silver yarn in the footbed to help manage sweat and odour.

It's best not to. Start each day in a clean pair and put yesterday's in the wash. After a day in sneakers a sock is holding that day's sweat, even when it doesn't smell. Our silver footbed keeps the smell down while you wear them, but it doesn't make a worn pair clean.

It depends on how often you wear a pair and how you wash it. Bin a pair once it has holes, thin patches or a cuff that's lost its stretch and slides down. The heel and toe of ours are reinforced and the socks hold their shape through washing. To get the most out of a pair, wash it inside out on cold and dry it on the line.

Go by how your sneakers fit. A thin sock suits snug sneakers and a cushioned one fills out a roomier fit. Ours are a little thicker than your dress socks and match a gym sock for thickness. If your sneakers are already snug, try one pair before you buy more.
